Daniel Pacheco was signed from Barcelona as a promising youngster in the summer of 2007.

The forward has been on the brink of the Liverpool first team for several years but spent 2011-12 on loan at Atletico Madrid, who subsequently loaned him to Rayo Vallecano.

What he lacks in height he makes up for in skill, applying his talent between the lines.
He made his first-team debut for Liverpool as a substitute against Fiorentina at Anfield on 9 December, 2009.

Pacheco has also represented Spain U17s, U19s and U20s. He was the tournament's top scorer as his country's U19s reached the final of the 2010 European Championships.

He spent the end of 2010-11 on loan at Championship side Norwich City, aiding their promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
